Private Medical Insurance is designed to give you the choice, flexibility and speed of access to the most clinically appropriate services, private healthcare helps to place you in control and offers the standards and peace of mind you would expect. We are committed to supporting all of our clients and aim to provide clarity, choice and certainty around:

  1. When you will be treated - you’re usually seen quickly and at a time that’s convenient to you
  2. Where you will be treated - usually in private hospital facilities with en-suite rooms
  3. Who will be treating you - you can choose your consultants and specialists
  4. How you’ll be treated - in some cases, using treatments and drugs that aren’t available on the NHS

Health insurance can pay for quick diagnosis, such as MRI scans, and prompt treatment of acute illness or injury including operations and aftercare, that could be administered in a private hospital or as a private patient in a NHS hospital. Health insurance won’t generally cover GP services, the management of long-term conditions (eg diabetes) or accident and emergency incidents.
