When providing private finance it is important to match the right banker with the client. Most private banks have specialist bankers for each sector specialising in resident domicile and non-domicile, non-resident Russia and CIS, South Asia, Far East Asia, Middle East and the Americas. Specialist bankers have a deeper local knowledge and are far better equipped to understanding a client’s source of wealth, aspirations and financial needs as well as the opportunity for the bank.

Private Banks are typically looking for a wider banking relationship rather than just assisting with stand-alone finance. This could include a requirement for cash on deposit or assets under management (AUM). We assist in providing the optimum balance between finance and deposits. Pricing and loan against value is impacted by the asset relationship. The spread on the loan can be considerably less when deposits and AUMs are brought to the relationship. Higher LTVs can be achieved through cross collateralization whereby the loan is secured over the property and other securable assets. There are also options available for standalone lending.
